The Central
Texas Council of Governments (CTCOG) is a voluntary association of cities,
counties, school districts, and special districts within the seven-county
Central Texas region. Established in 1968, CTCOG is authorized by State-enabling
legislation (Chapter 391 - Local Government Code) to assist local governments in
planning for common needs, cooperating for mutual benefit, and coordinating for
sound regional development.
